Charles Stanley Direct’s Ben Yearsley to exit

Charles Stanley Direct head of investment research Ben Yearsley is to leave the firm “to pursue other opportunities”.

Yearsley was at Charles Stanley for nearly three years and was previously an investment manager at Hargreaves Lansdown for 15 years.

A Charles Stanley spokesman says: “We can confirm that Ben is leaving the business to pursue other opportunities.  We thank him for his work here and wish him all the best in his future endeavours.”

Charles Stanley Direct investment director Douglas McNeill recently left the firm to join Macquarie Capital as senior analyst.

In November 2014, the company’s former managing director Rob Hudson also departed to join Aberdeen Asset Management as head of business development for digital.
