Charcol general manager Okey believed to be resigning

Charcol general manager Ricky Okey is believed to be resigning from the company by December 1st.

Money Marketing believes he is considering a range of options, one of which includes a possible move to Thinc.

Money Marketing Online reported yesterday that Bradford & Bingley is close to agreeing a management buy-out of Charcol with venture capital backing.

Bradford & Bingley head of PR Siobhan Hotten says: “As far as I know, we have received no resignation. Ricky is still an employee of the organisation and nothing is in the offing.”

Charcol was unable to comment on Okey’s position.
