Changes at Chase Fleming

Chase Fleming Asset Management chief investment officer Tony Robinson (above left) is leaving and is to be replaced by Martin Porter (right).

Robinson is the fifth departure this week following the resignations of two senior sales directors and two fund managers. The resignations come after staff got payouts of up to seven figures, following its takeover by Chase Manhattan.

Golden handcuff packages have been offered to key staff to minimise further departures.

Porter heads Chase Fleming&#39s global segregated business. He says: “We have tremendous strength in each asset class and the key individuals are still in place. Chase Fleming is a global business with 3,000 employees. You have to put these depart-ures into perspective.”
