CGU to maintain IFA commission on transfers to stakeholder

CGU has pledged that it will maintain commission on personal and group personal pensions if the client transfers into a CGU stakeholder pension.


The life company says it will continue to pay level commission throughout the term to retirement and non-indemnified initial commission throughout the earnings period subject to current commission and clawback rules.

Halifax survey shows sharp rise in prices

The Halifax house price survey for May shows an increase in prices of 2.1 per cent. The annual rate now stands at 5.7 per cent.The rise is the highest increase since last October and reflects the low interest rate environment. The greatest rises were seen in Greater London.
