C&G appoints Kevin Purvey as head of corporate intermediary sales

Cheltenham & Gloucester has announced that former Bank of Ireland Mortgages head of sales Kevin Purvey will be its new head of corporate intermediary sales.

He will replace Mark Blackwell who is moving to Alliance & Leicester in the New Year as head of intermediary sales.

Purvey will join C&G in the New Year.

A spokeswoman for the lender says that it is still in the process of recruiting an intermediary sales director to replace John Champion who left recently after nearly 20 years at the firm.

C&G managing director Joy Griffiths says: “Kevin is very well known and respected in the industry. He brings an in depth knowledge of the intermediary marketplace allowing him to continue to develop our corporate account presence.”
