Cazenove lines up multi-asset web seminar

Cazenove Capital Management is to host Asset TV’s first live, interactive multi-asset web seminar for advisers.

The seminar on November 15 will feature five specialist fund managers, who all run portfolios held by the Cazenove multi-manager diversity fund, discussing the outlook for their respective asset class.

Advisers can register and send in questions for the managers via Cazenove, Asset TV or Cofunds.

Merrill Lynch UK absolute alpha manager Mark Lyttleton will discuss the outlook for equities, Aegon extra income bond fund manager Dave Roberts will discuss bonds, Swip property fund Gerry Ferguson will talk on property, JPM natural resources deputy fund manager Nicole Vettise will look at commodities and International Asset Management fund of hedge funds manager Alan Djanogly will deal with alternative investments.

They will be joined by Cazenove multi-managers Mark Harries and Simon Wood, who will discuss their portfolio and how they blend the asset classes. The multi-manager diversity fund was launched in August 2005.

Cazenove head of UK advisory sales Robert Thorpe says the seminar is being run as a co-promotion with Cofunds and advisers buying the fund through the platform will get a 1.5 per cent discount on the initial charge between November and the end of the year.

Thorpe says: “Multi-asset funds have grown in popularity and this fund has proved its worth in the recent volatile markets. This is the first time we have gone out as Cazenove Capital to promote the fund to a potentially unlimited audience.”
