Cazenove gets AAA rating on all European Oeics

Cazenove Capital Management is to have the AA ratings on its European Oeic fund range upgraded to AAA by Standard & Poor’s.

The three funds managed by Chris Rice and Steve Cordell will be promoted from AA to AAA, including Rice’s Cazenove European fund and the two Dublin funds – Cazenove pan-Europe fund, run by Cordell and Cazenove Europe (ex-UK) fund, also run by Rice.

Cazenove Capital Management managing director Robin Minter-Kemp says: “We are delighted with this impending recognition from Standard and Poor’s. It is unprecedented that both managers have been singled out and merited with this AAA status.

“I would expect, given the news of their AAA rated status that our client base will broaden to the advisory markets. Up until now we have mainly achieved support from fund of funds, private banks and wealth managers.”
