Cavendish Grant goes as Chartwell rebrands

Chartwell has brought its four business channels under its own banner, ending the Cavendish Grant brand.

Cavendish Grant IFA has been rebadged Chartwell Private Client and Chartwell Direct becomes Chartwell The fund arm is being renamed Chartwell Fund Management while the independent mortgage broker remains as Chartwell Funding. The multi-asset Oeic has been rebranded the Chartwell Oeic.

Chartwell merged with Cavendish Grant 18 months ago and says the rebranding will promote greater recognition of the scale of its offering.

Chief executive Jim Grant says: “This is a positive step to bring clarity to clients, strengthen our proposition and ensure we have a solid platform for growth. We have broadened our portfolio of products, listened to what our clients want and launched innovative services such as

“Chartwell is a name people know and trust and the rebrand will help us build on what we have achieved as a business.”
