Cathedral widens property horizons

Cathedral Independent Financial Planning has joined with overseas property network Blue Horizons to offer advice on buying property abroad.

Cathedral has opened a co-branded property shop at its Swindon base
which offers advice on buying property abroad.

Blue Horizons is opening a second shop in Cambridge-shire in the next
few months and aims to open at least 20 shops by the end of 2005.

Cathedral principal Karen Love says the partnership was created after
she had problems buying a property abroad.

Blue Horizons managing director Colin Barrett-Treen says “Interest
in buying property abroad has never been greater. Our franchise
presents financial advice firms with an ideal opportunity to extend
their services in a way that has perfect synergy with their existing
