Carmignac expands sales team

Carmignac Gestion has added to its London-based sales team with the appointment of Nick White as sales manager.

White will report to head of country Matthew Wright when he takes up his new position at the end of June.

In his new role, White will focus on developing the firm’s presence among discretionary fund managers and wealth advisers in the UK.

White joins from Martin Currie where he was a sales manager and has previously worked for Invesco Perpetual.

The asset manager is to launch 10 funds into the UK retail market and has been growing its sales team in preparation for the launch.
