Capital Private Finance appoints Ian Baker as sales director

Capital Private Finance, the joint venture between Countrywide and Mortgage Advice Bureau, has appointed Ian Baker as its sales director.

Baker, who will report to the board, joins from John Charcol, where he was its sales manager. Prior to John Charcol, he was an area sales manager at Andrew Estate Agents.

CPF is due to launch in August and will cater for the clients of Countrywide’s premium estate agency brands.

MAB chief executive Peter Brodnicki says: “Ian brings with him a wealth of experience in the southern residential property sector and his expertise, paired with his management style, passion and enthusiasm for the role makes him an excellent fit for the business.”

Countrywide financial services director Nigel Stockton says: “We said that we would be looking to attract the best private finance consultants in the industry to be a part of this exciting venture and we’re really pleased to have Ian onboard.”
