Capita life and pensions chief Parkinson departs

Capita Life and Pensions managing director Steve Parkinson has left the firm.

The firm says Parkinson left the firm around two months ago but no announcement was made at the time.

A Capita spokeswoman says: “Steve left to pursue other challenges earlier this year. We wish him every success in the future.”

Parkinson was previously Lincoln Financial Group business development director before joining Capita in January 2003.

The firm says Parkinson’s duties will be taken on by the current management. Capita life and pensions is currently led by divisional director Stephen Sharp.

In April, Capita announced its acquisition of Bluefin Corporate Consulting in a deal worth £50m.
