Cap Gemini Ernst & Young has issued a profit warning and is cutting 2,700 jobs.

The Anglo-French management and information technology group is blaming the cost-cutting measures on the slowdown in the US economy and a poor outlook for financial services in the US and Benelux. Job cuts will be made in the US, UK and Scandinavia.
