Canada Life has created a new sales team charged with supporting advisers working with small and micro employers ahead of their automatic enrolment staging date.
The 10-strong team will focus on helping advisers deliver an auto-enrolment solution for employers with fewer than 50 employees.
These employers will begin auto-enrolling their staff into a workplace pension scheme from June 2015 onwards.
Canada Life group insurance sales director Jon Ford says: “The newly formed team is made up of well-trained internal staff, as we recognise that smaller advisers need excellent technical support when dealing in the group risk market.
“We are recruiting to back-fill the positions that have been made vacant.”
