Canada Life launches stage 2 of e-business system

Canada Life Group Insurance Division has launched eReporting, the second stage of its e-business portal, Class.

Class stands for Canada Life Automated Self Service and allows intermediaries whose clients have Canada Life policies to access comprehensive customer information from any location, at anytime with a secure log in.

eReporting has been designed to give users quick and easy access to three basic categories of policy data – scheme info, medical underwriting and claims.

All this information can be downloaded as an individual report for use as internal management information or to provide to a client.

The second phase follows eQuotes which launched in August, offering intermediaries the opportunity to generate standardised group life assurance, group income protection and group critical illness quotations for companies with between three and 100 employees.

Class business development manager Daniel Crook says: “Since the launch of eQuotes, we have received a great deal of positive feedback from intermediaries who find the ability to generate quotations quickly and simply a real advantage in the market. Therefore, we are delighted increase the functionality of Class further by launching eReporting. This new service allows intermediaries to access comprehensive customer information at anytime and from any location providing them with the edge in this increasingly competitive market.”
