Canada Life goes live with Plum Software

Canada Life has gone live with Plum Software giving users direct access to fund information.

The direct link to the IFA software provider means Canada Life users can now download fund names, number of units, price, valuations for all clients by entering a single reference number.

The move, part of Canada Life’s major European technology project, also means users can access offshore valuations via the contract enquiry facility through Canada Life International.

Canada Life managing director of wealth management Alain Wolffe says: “We are pleased to add Plum Software to our back office links and we look forward to adding further links as we progress with our overall plans. The fact that Canada Life continues to invest in technology projects during the current time demonstrates our determination to support our IFAs.”

Plum Software managing director Ann Dempster says: “We’re delighted that our intermediaries will now be able to benefit from this direct link to both Canada Life and Canada Life International.

“Canada Life has been very proactive in ensuring that all aspects of their messages can be integrated into the Plum software. Integrations like these save our adviser clients many hours of valuable working time, which is vital in the current climate.”
