Cairngorm&#39s investors get preference in float

Cairngorm Asset Management is to offer preferential share application

rights to its investors when it floats on Aim this year.

Share and warrant holders of Cairngorm&#39s investment trusts will be

eligible for the preferential rights as well as new investors who register

before a cut-off date to be announced in the coming months.

The Edinburgh-based investment firm announced its intention to float last

week and hopes to raise substantial new capital for expansion. The firm is

currently estimated to be worth around £20m.

Chairman Ken Murray says: “Becoming a publicly quoted company will provide

us with the resources we need to grow and strengthen business. We also want

to repay our long-term investors by giving them the chance to take a share

in the company at a preferential rate.”
