BUPA appoints long-term protection specialist

BUPA appoints a new long term care specialist to head the long term individual protection business.

Steve Payne has joined as director from life and health reassurer Revios where he was deputy chief executive.

A fellow of the Institute of Actuaries, Steve is also former chairman of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries Healthcare Conference and a member of the Investment Life Assurance Group&#39s critical illness working party.

BUPA commercial director, UK membership says: “Steve&#39s broad industry knowledge is exactly what we need to develop the BUPA franchise into longer term protection.”
