Britannic Assurance claims it has already enrolled 2,800 businesses to its stakeholder pension.
Britannic is offering staff free accidental death benefit up to the value of £10,000 from the date of enrolment up to October 2001.
Britannic has specifically targeted companies employing between five and 150 employees. its head of stakeholder John Wilkinson says: “We are only too aware that many companies are concerned about the administration involved. So in order to place the least possible burden on the employer, Britannic offers jargon-free information, face-to-face advice and a stakeholder pension that is easy to implement.”
