Britannic Money is in style

Flexible mortgage lender Britannic Money sponsored UK designer Russell Sage&#39s autumn/winter 2002 show at this year&#39s London Fashion Week.

The show at the Drill Hall in London&#39s West End on February16 saw models walking on a catwalk of gold, silver and bronze coins worth £5,000, lent to Sage by Britannic Money.

This is the third season that the lender has sponsored the young designer and each year as part of the deal he includes a design or feature relating to money to highlight the association.

It was Sage&#39s idea to create the coin catwalk to complement the theme of “new British luxury” running through his show.

Britannic Money head of marketing Rachel Ramsden says “Russell is an inspiring British designer whose innovation and creative flair challenges fashion norms, mirroring our own efforts to challenge preconceptions in the mortgage industry.”

Sage says: “British fashion relies on corporate sponsors to support our world-famous creativity. Recent world events have meant that many sponsors are no longer in a position to support British fashion and I am grateful to Britannic Money for its ongoing support.”
