Bright Grey enhances online proposition

Bright Grey has unveiled its plans to enhance its online proposition by designing a software package to allow IFAs to reuse client records online.

The system, designed by Bright Grey’s in-house team, will reduce the amount of time it takes intermediaries to submit business by allowing IFAs to reuse client records when filling out an online application form or quotation.

Bright Grey’s distribution director Andy Peters says: “In recognising that advisers are looking for integrated systems and greater functionality, we are continuing to invest in innovative technology.

“This not only makes it simpler for advisers to conduct business but also sets us apart from our competitors.”

The move also means software vendors can now integrate their systems to Bright Grey’s and convert data from external platforms.


Fortis ejects chief executive

Fortis chief executive Jean-Paul Votron has been ousted from the Belgian bank. A statement said the board of directors of Fortis, along with Votron, have decided to terminate his contract “by mutual agreement” and in the interest of the group.
