Brewin Dolphin sets up institutional broking team

Private client stockbroker Brewin Dolphin Securities is appointing Roland Walton and Matthew Collis to set up a new institutional broking team.

Both Walton and Collis previously worked for Old Mutual Securities. The new team will concentrate on special situations and risk arbitrage in the UK mid and small cap sector, and will service the hedge fund community.

Brewin Dolphin institutional director John Dickinson says: “Roland and Matthew, with their specialist expertise across the UK mid and small cap sector, enhance Brewin Dolphin&#39s ability to serve institutional clients.”
