Consolidator Bradbury Hamilton has acquired Leeds-based advice firm SBB Consulting for an undisclosed sum.
SBB Consulting, run by principal David Boult, adds 1,000 clients and £15m in assets under advice to the acquisitive national IFA.
It is Bradbury Hamilton’s 48th acquisition since launching in 1993. The firm says it is in talks to acquire two more firms and will complete deals by the end of the year.
Bradbury Hamilton managing dir-ector Sheriar Bradbury says: “We have a strong Manchester presence but David’s business will reinforce our position as leading advisers in the region.
“Finding businesses that have a strong commonality in ethos and approach but where we can add value is key to our strategy and we have ambitious plans to acquire more client banks in Yorkshire.”
Bradbury Hamilton posted a pre-tax profit of £290,000 in the year to September 2013.
