Boost to IFA sales of Unum protection plan

Unum says sales of its group income protection product sold primarily

through IFAs has increased by 30 per cent to £12.7m in the first half

of this year from £9.7m in the same period last year. Overall sales

were up by 18 per cent to £34.5m from £29.2m.
