BM Solutions

Halifax&#39s specialist intermediary lender BM Solutions is starting its spring campaign with a new visual identity. The BM Solutions brand is exclusively for intermediaries while the consumer brand is Birmingham Midshires.

The new images are red and white with minimal text and simple graphics designed to stand out in the specialist lender marketplace.

The website is solely for intermediaries and includes up-to-date information on its range of self-certification, sub-prime, buy to let, expat and mainstream mortgages. Application forms can be downloaded although these cannot be completed online.

The marketing brief for the new look was handled by London advertising agency Delaney Lund Knox Warren. It says the campaign aims to position BM Solutions as the specialist lender committed to making its products transparent with a focus on delivering long-term value.

Head of borrowing products Steve Sandiford says: “We have updated our identity to help us kick off marketing activity in 2002 and help ensure that our brand is consistent across all intermediary communications. In particular, BM Solutions will be aggressively targeting the self-cert market, highlighting to intermediaries the difference between trueself-cert and some of the paler imitations.”
