Bluefin makes further job cuts

Bluefin has made seven support staff at its London office redundant, Money Marketing understands.

Money Marketing has learnt that Bluefin has cut seven jobs from its 35-strong support staff team at the Mark Lane office, including that of its sole specialist paraplanner.

Those affected are understood to be in a consultation period with the firm.

Bluefin has around 55 people in situ at the Mark Lane office with approximately 15 further advisers who use it as a base.

The redundancies add to those made by Thinc prior to the rebrand last September when it cut its support staff by a third due to difficult market conditions.

Bluefin refused to comment on the redundancies.
