Alain Bourrier has left his fund manager role at BlackRock, causing a reshuffle on the emerging markets desk.
Previously, Bourrier, Will Landers and Plamen Monovski run the group’s Emerging Markets fund and the offshore version, BGF Emerging Markets. They also ran the BGF Emerging Europe fund.
Since Bourrier’s departure in March, Dhiren Shah, Daniel Tubbs and Sam Vecht have taken on the onshore and offshore Emerging Markets mandates. The trio are all internal appointments.
Vecht will also run the Emerging Europe vehicle with Monovski.
Landers remains at the firm but will now only focus on the Latin American fund.
