BlackRock appoints international marketing head

BlackRock has appointed Martin McGovern as director of international marketing.

McGovern will be responsible for implementing the group’s brand strategy across the international business in areas such as advertising, brand research and regional marketing co-ordination. He was previously head of international brand management at Barclays Bank plc.

He will report to BlackRock head of international marketing Nuala Walsh. She says: “BlackRock is going through an exciting phase in its international business. Martin’s experience will be a great benefit to BlackRock and he will be an important addition to the team.”
