BIBA appoints Aon CEO to board

The British Insurance Brokers’ Association has appointed Aon Corporate and Affinity chief executive officer Robert Brown to its board.

Brown will take up the post in July.

He says: “There are many challenges facing the broking sector over the coming years. For some, it is simply to survive. For others, it is to emerge from the recession in a position of strength.

“For the industry as a whole, there are issues we all will face, such as regulatory changes. As the voice of the UK broking industry, BIBA will be at the forefront in ensuring our concerns are aired and heard.”
