Which are the best and worst-performing emerging market funds?

The Global Emerging Markets sector houses funds that invest 80 per cent or more of their assets in equities from emerging market countries as defined by the relevant FTSE or MSCI Emerging Markets and Frontier indices. The maximum frontier equity exposure is restricted to 20 per cent of the total fund.

There is £21.6bn of assets under management in the Global Emerging Markets sector. Over one year, 28 funds in the sector saw inflows while 23 suffered outflows, with one remaining static. In May, the sector saw £130.2m in net retail sales, the highest level in seven months.
