Best Paraplanner – Jo Campbell, Para-Sols

Best paraplanner

This year’s paraplanner of the year category was hotly contested between two leading shortlisted paraplanners, both of whom demonstrated an enthusiasm for paraplanning and a desire to go above and beyond to boost the profession as a whole.

Para-Sols was named the winner, as the judges were particularly impressed with the firm’s drive not only to promote the profession within financial services, but to look beyond the horizon of the industry by linking with universities and establishing a programme to recruit graduates.

The judges felt this commitment to finding the next generation of paraplanners marked out Jo Campbell, who represented Para-Sols at the judging interview, as an outstanding ambassador for the paraplanning industry and a future industry leader.

Chadney Bulgin was awarded highly commended for the work it has done with the Personal Finance Society on its paraplanning conferences and the firm’s work on sharing best paraplanning practice.
