Traded endowment policy market-maker Beale Dobie has updated its IFA guide

and produced a new consumer version which discusses the pros and cons of

The new IFA guide aims to help advisers explain to their clients the tax

implications of investing in Teps and their uses in retirement planning.

The guides also list frequently asked questions, including what levels of

investment are required in a Tep and how to buy a Tep jointly.

The guide is specifically for IFAs and is updated every time there is a

legislative or market change affecting the market.

It is given free to IFAs in a folder format so they can insert amendments

and keep it as a reference book to buying and selling Teps.

Beale Dobie investment manager Tracey Merritt says: “One of the key

drivers in the Tep market&#39s growth is the demand for policies by investors

and this guide aims to address the questions asked and highlight the many

uses of a Tep investment.”
