BCWA backs networking WFG dinners

BCWA Healthcare is teaming up with the Womens’ Financial Adviser Group to launch a series of networking dinners for members.

BCWA will sponsor dinn- ers at top restaurants around the country. Quarterly events will run in Reading, Bristol, Manchester, York, Birmingham and London.

Other events will be held in Cardiff, Cheltenham, Manchester, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Cambridge, Norwich, Exeter, Bournemouth and Poole. There will be a total of 40 events and up to 16 WFG members will be able to attend each dinner free.

Women advisers who want to reserve a place at one of the dinners can sign up online at www.wfa-group.co.uk. Dates and locations of events in October and November are published on the site.

WFG founder and chairwoman Fiona Price says: “Members will now be able to meet regularly all round the country for dinner in great venues and at no cost to themselves.

“Networking, especially in today’s fast-moving world of personal finance, is essential and now that the group has widened its membership to include multi-tied, tied and mortgage advisers as well as advisers and paraplanners, there will be a huge amount of benefit to all.”

BCWA sales and market- ing director Jack Briggs says: “Women play a crucial role in the profession and these events will help further dev- elop the unique contribution they make.

“The events will provide great forums for networking and learning as well as valu- able opportunities for raising members’ awareness of sector-wide issues.”
