B&CE chief executive Brian Griffiths is to retire later this year and will be replaced by director Patrick Heath-Lay.
Griffiths, who has led the organisation for 10 years, will leave in September.
B&CE has recently launched its auto-enrolment proposition, The People’s Pension. Heath-Lay (pictured), who is currently director of finance and strategic delivery, was interviewed about his plans in this month’s Retirement Strategy.
B&CE chairman Sir John Chilcot says: “Brian has led and developed B&CE for the last 10 years through challenging times within the financial services industry. Today we are announcing a successor to the role of chief executive to enable a smooth transition, ensuring that momentum for the business is maintained at this crucial time, together with management continuity.”
