B&CE appoints head of sales and marketing

B&CE Benefit Schemes has appointed former Unum Provident marketing director Eugene McCormack as its first head of sales and marketing.

McCormack spent five and a half years as marketing director at Unum and prior to this, he held a number of senior and board level positions within sales and marketing at Barclays Life, Prudential, and LV=.

McCormack will be a member of B&CE’s senior management team, helping to drive forward growth, diversification, and extend the coverage of existing products.

B&CE chief executive officer Brian Griffiths says: “We are delighted to have Eugene onboard. As a well-known innovator in the personal protection market, we are looking to him to further drive the business forward. Eugene also joins us at an exciting time, with B&CE celebrating its 65th anniversary this autumn.”
