BBNFP businesses merge to minimise losses

Berry Birch & Noble Financial Planning Limited will today merge with fellow national IFA arm Berry Birch & Noble Financial Planning (Weston) Limited.

The amalgamation of both arms is set to reduce capital shortfalls accumulated through BBNFP, Weston and network Berkeley Independent Advisers. BBNFP will be swallowed by Weston, and the business will work as a national self-employed IFA.

The BBB group is attributing its capital inadequacies down to FSA investigations and poor adviser performance and insists no other part of the business will be affected.
