Barclays Wealth – Regular Income Bond Base Rate Edition March 2012

Type: Capital-protected bond

Aim: Income and the return of capital linked to the performance of the FTSE 100 index

Minimum-maximum investment: £5,340-£500,000, Isa £10,680 or £11,280 for 2012/13 tax year

Term: Five years

Return: The higher of 0.48% income a month or 3% above the Bank of England base rate a year

Protection: Original capital returned in full at the end of the term provided the index does not fall by more than 50% without returning to at least its initial value

Closing date: April 13, 2012, March 30, 2012 for Isa transfers

Commission: Initial 3%
