The special edition plan is set for launch in September and will link to the performance of the Dow Jones Global Titans 50, an index which is made up of the 50 biggest companies worldwide.
The four-year plan will have a minimum investment of £5,000 and will offer a return of 50 per cent if the index finishes above its opening level after four years.
Capital is only at risk if the index falls by more than 50 per cent from its opening point, at which time losses would be one for one.
The product is available for Sipp investment but not for Isas because of its four-year term. It offers CGT thresholds to the tune of £21,600, pro- vided the current thresholds increase year on year at 2.5 per cent.
Director Colin Dickie says: “This product fills a niche in our range in that it offers global diversification, which is a particular benefit for those who feel overexposed to the FTSE100, increasing the likelihood of a positive outcome.”
