Barclays Stockbrokers Isa linked to 116 funds

Barclays Stockbrokers has set up a multi-fund Isa with acc- ess to 116 funds from 14 fund managers.

Investors who apply before March 31 could also win a mobile phone.

The Isa offers access to 116 individual managed and tracker funds from managers including ABN Amro, Aberdeen, Close, Deutsche, Fidelity, Gartmore, Invesco, Merrill Lynch, M&G and Schroders.

The initial charge on managed funds is 1.5 per cent but there is no initial charge on tracker funds. The annual management fee on all funds is 0.5 per cent.

Investors choose their initial unit trust and Oeic investments on one form. Once their Isa is open, they can switch their investment by phone, online or via a Wap phone.

Barclays says the Isa is good for investors who want to spread their risk, giving them a mix and match of different funds in one product, reducing admin.

Barclays Stockbrokers prod- uct development manager Maple Adams-Krygier says: “The multi-fund Isa is an ideal way for investors to access a number of funds from a number of different managers.

They can look at a diverse number of products in a smoother capacity. Last year&#39s Isa season saw a number of themes played out such as technology.

This gives a broad choice in a market that is not as specialised as last year.”
