Barclays Capital managing director Colin Dickie has quit the firm.
Dickie had been with Barclays Capital since 2001 and led the firm’s structured products operation.
Prior to Barclays, he worked at KeyData Investment Services as business director.
He has also previously been Fedsure Investment Products Services operations director and a marketing actuary at the Life Association of Scotland.
Lowes Financial Management managing director Ian Lowes says: “Colin Dickie is one of the biggest names in structured products and he will be missed although I’m sure he won’t be disappearing for too long.”
Barclays Capital declined to comment.
The firm announced in June that it was closing its Barclays Capital Radar fund owing to the portfolio’s small size.
The fund, which launched in February 2009 and sat on the IMA Targeted Return sector, has assets under management of just $9.8m (£6.4m).
