Barclays authorised in Qatar

The Qatar Financial Centre Regulatory Authority has granted authorisation to Barclays Bank to carry out regulated activities in Qatar.

The QFC is located in Doha and operates to international standards. It has been open for business since May 1 2005 and aims to encourage the development and growth in the financial services market in Qatar.
