Bacon & Woodrow to appoint Government stakeholder providers

The Civil Service and NHS have both appointed Bacon & Woodrow to manage the selection of their stakeholder and AVC providers, which together will affect nearly 2m employees.

The appointment follows both organisations&#39 decision to offer a stakeholder plan as a concurrency option to all employees and an additional AVC provider to supplement existing arrangements.

Bacon & Woodrow partner Andy Cox says: “In spite of its critics, stakeholder has had a fundamental and positive influence on the whole packaged pension market.”
