Axa to double protection sales team

Axa is set to double its protection sales team by the end of the year to accommodate increased demand from advisers.

Axa says its adviser sales have increases significantly in 2007 and the new recruits will support further growth as well as allow the team to build closer relationships with individual advisers.

The firm is searching for experienced protection specialists to join the team as Axa protection line sales consultants, who develop relationships with advisers by phone, or field-based protection account managers, who visit advisers across the UK.

Axa director of protection sales Jamie McIver says: “We recognise the importance of building and maintaining strong relationships with advisers to make it as easy as possible for them to write protection business.”

He says improvements to Axa’s protection products, such as the inclusion of total mastectomy cover in our CI policies, mean its sales team has been dealing with a much larger number of advisers requesting information.

While Trump blazes blond in the political foreground, it’s easy to overlook the economic background to the new political dimension of 2017.
