Axa Sun Life calls for increase in stakeholder fees

Axa Sun Life is calling for the stakeholder limit on fees to be increased 50 per cent to pay for independent financial advice.

The life office argues that advice is essential before any transfer into a stakeholder plan and wants the maximum annual charge upped to 1.5 per cent.

It is also critical of proposals to allow stakeholder schemes to accept transfers without question because it will force them to accept transfers even when it is not in a client&#39s best interests.
