AXA PPP removes cancer cover limits

AXA PPP healthcare is to provide full cover for licensed drugs, without time or monetary limits, on its standard level of cover for members affected by cancer or heart disease.

For cancer treatment, AXA PPP is also waiving any monetary limits that may apply to outpatient tests and consultations.

The enhancements apply to both new and existing customers with immediate effect.

AXA PPP is also extending its free phone dedicated nurse service, which it currently offers to members undergoing treatment for cancer, to support members who are diagnosed with a heart condition. The service provides members with a dedicated nurse who can discuss their concerns and worries.

AXA PPP commercial director Fergus Craig says: “We want our members to be confident that, if they need treatment for cancer or a heart problem, we are committed to supporting them – not just by settling their medical bills but also by helping them through our dedicated nurse service and by providing additional benefits that can help to make life a little easier when they need it most.”
