Axa PPP healthcare introduces new helpline

Axa PPP healthcare has introduced a helpline for its UK medical insurance customers who have been diagnosed with cancer.

The Dedicated Nurse line is available to members of company-paid healthcare schemes, individual policyholders and their family members.

The service is designed to provide personalised support and medical guidance by qualified nurses, free of charge. It will provide a constant point of contact throughout treatment and recovery, offer information and guidance about their condition and provide an opportunity to speak with an experienced qualified nurse.

Axa PPP is also introducing a new lower cost medical insurance option for companies, Corporate Health Plan 6. The option is designed to provide corporate clients with immediate access to private treatment providing the NHS cannot provide the necessary treatment within six weeks.

Axa PPP healthcare head of client relationships Chris Rofe says: “Businesses are under considerable pressure to contain their costs and the corporate health plan 6 is a valuable cost-saving option for employers. It’s also an attractive option for companies who want to consider different levels of cover for their workforce or as part of a flexible benefits package.”
