Axa offers UK blue-chip fund

Axa Framlington has launched a UK blue-chip equity income fund.

It will be managed by Jamie Forbes-Wilson who is part of the UK equity team. It will aim to provide growing income and capital growth over time through a portfolio of between 50 and 70 individual holdings.

As part of the launch, Axa’s UK equity income fund will transfer to the fund on February 19 to simplify Axa IM and Axa Framlington client offerings.

The changes are part of Axa IM’s ongoing fund rationalisation programme which has been implemented over the past year to ensure all funds are managed by the appropriate experts within the Axa IM brands.

Axa Investment managers head of UK retail sales Rob Bailey says: “The blue-chip equity income fund further strengthens Axa Framlington’s core UK offering.”
