Axa hits out at Government pensions policy

Axa Sun Life has made an unprecedented attack on the Government&#39s pensions and savings policies.

Marketing strategy director Robert Lee, writing in Money Marketing this week, puts the neglect of financial advice at the centre of broadside against Lisas, stakeholder pensions and Cat standard ISAs.

He directly links the neglect of advice to a future fall in take-up of pensions and a &#34misbuying scandal&#34.

Lee says: &#34Without a change in focus from the Government and an encouragement of professional financial advice there will be a lower uptake of pensions and a misbuying scandal within the next five years.&#34
