Axa Framlington hands global fund to Tinker

Axa Framlington has appointed Mark Tinker to manage the group’s £94m managed growth fund.

Tinker, who joined the group back in February, becomes the fifth manager change in the past three years on the portfolio.

Tinker will use a top-down thematic approach, which he believes will help him identify areas of global growth and potential risk.

He replaces Tim Short, who has left the firm less than six months after orignally taking on the vehicle from Chris Armstrong.
