Axa Framlington appoints Dan Harlow to UK equities team

Axa Framlington has appointed Dan Harlow as a portfolio manager in its UK equities team.

Harlow will work across the UK market cap spectrum but will work closely with Chris St John on the UK small-cap desk.

Harlow joins from Montanaro Asset Management where he was a director, head of fund management and also the manager of the Montanaro UK smaller companies investment trust.

He officially joins next month and will report to Axa Framlington global head Mark Beveridge.

Beveridge says: ““Dan Harlow is a greatly respected and successful small cap investor with both closed end and open end fund experience. His appointment is a strong indication of our commitment and intention to grow our UK smaller companies franchise within AXA Framlington’s highly experienced UK equities team.”
